A little history about Mick . . .
Mick Varner wandered into Telluride in the fall of 1975 with $200 and a beat-up pickup sporting a rusty stock rack. The population was around 700 then. Dogs slept on the centerline of Main Street. Telluride was at the beginning of its new career.
Mick bought his first residential lots in Telluride the spring of 1976...at a bargain. In June 1977 he bought and developed a corner main street historic building. He rehabbed and operated the cellar as a jazz/blues nightclub called Trinity Tavern.
After a long hiatus in San Francisco, Mick once again secured his real estate license and sold his folks $6.5 million his first year (no, no, not his Mom and Dad…it was those clients who claim he made them happy). Mick now plays tennis and has skied like a maniac on Telluride's great hill for 30 years. He also has a few pals in town. Some are also clients.
