Ohhh Choate. The Cardinals counterpunched the Giants in last night`s windy Game 3, blowing on the Bay and in AT& T Park as only it can in San Francisco to tie it up. Another seesaw game, tense, yanking the fans from their seats...like the first two games did in St. Louis.
The Cards rookie rightfielder Grichuk smacked one off the left field foul pole to tie it 4-4. In the Giants` 10th Cardinals lefty specialist Randy Choate walked his first batter, endured two freak show bunts, then tossed a wild throw into the Cards bullpen past Kolten Wong`s grande jete, who was covering 1st on the final bunt. That was it...the runner went home from 2nd...a fluky combination of plays Giants 5, Cardinals 4...over.
It does happen with baseball. It happens outside our doors...and inside the rooms.
Go Cards in this Game 4...we need it..
